Droid 2 USB Cable!

The Droid 2 uses same “micro USB” cable as many other smartphones out there, it’s just a regular, standard micro USB cable you need for charging/syncing your new Droid 2.

As a rule of thumb, we highly recommend you have at least 1 or 2 extra micro USB cables in hand, just in case you lose them.

Droid 2 battery can be re-charged via a micro USB cable connected to your computer/laptop or a USB charger so it’s a good idea to always have some extra in hand.

Here’s some of our suggestions for a Droid 2 USB Cable:

If you want OEM Droid 2 USB cable and just want extra, we highly suggest this microUSB cable made for a Blackberry, will work fine with your Droid 2, only $2.15 on Amazon.

For those of you who like being organized and travel a lot, try these retractable microUSB cables.  They are a bit pricier than a normal microUSB but most future smartphones are using microUSB as a standard and you will use these for a long, long time.  Only $13.47 on Amazon.

Also, if you don’t need all that wire, you can go with super short micro USB such as this one, which can easily be tethered to your phone so you will always be able to re-charge your Droid 2 anywhere you go.  Only $1.20 on Amazon.
